Now Hiring: Audit and Accounting Manager

Our firm is looking to hire a licensed CPA with audit experience. Three to five years audit experience is required.  Experience with nonprofit organizations and conducting single audits is also preferred. About the job:
The auditor will work with firm's managing partner conducting financial statement audits for small to midsized nonprofit organizations. Some review work and 990 preparation may also be performed.

The auditor is required to conduct one to two weeks total per month of field work at various clients' offices located within the Phoenix Metropolitan area. No overnight travel.

Work related activities include:
audit or review planning, analytical procedures, testing client balances, testing internal controls, entering trial balances into accounting software, preparing financials statements, drafting notes disclosures, preparing audit work papers and lead sheets, writing and updating formal letters, testing mathematical accuracy of schedules prepared by clients, updating or creating schedules for clients in Excel, other duties as assigned.  

The firm maintains a virtual office
– meaning that when not working directly with clients at their offices, you will work independently at home. There are no set office days or hours.

Required skills:
experience with audit software, Quickbooks and above average skills using Excel and Word.

Required equipment:
laptop computer, printer, scanner.

Salary and Wages:
Pay is commensurate with experience $30 - $50 per hour, DOE.
